I've had the privilege to work with and alongside Douglas County Sheriff Kevin Morris over the last several years. I've interacted with him when he was a Sergeant, Undersheriff and now as Sheriff. I'm both confident in his ability to lead his agency to a new level and excited to partner with Sheriff Morris and the Douglas County Sheriff's Office for the better of public safety in North Central Washington.
It is my honor to heartily endorse Kevin Morris for Sheriff in the upcoming 2018 election. I promoted him to my second in command in 2014, and it was one of the best professional decisions I’ve made in my 33 years in law enforcement.
Awesome to see a sheriff candidate who practices what he preaches and is hugely involved in the community.
Undersheriff Morris worked tirelessly with our county administrator, commissioners and command staff to design, and bring to completion our new evidence facility which was completed in October.
Kevin is a career veteran in the Sheriff's Office and has demonstrated his long term dedication, high level of competency and integrity while serving the citizens of Douglas County
For my friends and family in Douglas County, this is a GREAT choice for Sheriff!
